America’s Funniest Home Dead Dad (Fool House) by Shannon Scott

Quote

Its raining its pouring,
Bob Saget wasn’t very boring
He got into bed
And bumped his head
And couldn’t get up in the morning
The bruise on Bob’s noggin
Has got everyone bloggin’
Looking at each other
Wink’n and noddin’
Not buy’n the news peddled
The Lawman says no foul play
Hoping questions would go away
But The Coroner no foreigner
To being asked
To look the other way
After all, it was “only 1 gunman”
Who had all of that fun man
Back in 2016
A town like Orlando
Has always plagued us
What goes on there
Gets buried with care
Innocence vanishes into thin air
And comics go to die

Bonaventure Cemetery’s Hartmann Twins’ Sculpture

Quote

Bonaventure Cemetery’s Hartmann Sisters Statue is probably one of the most asked about by visitors to Bonaventure and one of the most overlooked at the same time.

Sculptor John Walz devoted a number of statues to the Hartmann family plot, but there are few statues more iconic than the monument placed here commonly called “The Hartmann Twins.” This has become misleading as the two sisters never knew each other but sculptor John Walz represents them cuddling as if they had been close in life. The sisters are depicted on top of either an inverted baptismal basin, child’s wash-tub or possibly a child’s crib. The inversion of the object is to show the close of a life.
